  • This all depends on the size of a project.

    Rewriting the copy of a medium-sized website could take up to two full working days, whereas a developmental edit of an 80,000-word novel might take 3-5 months.

    The best thing to do is use the contact form above and tell me about your project in as much detail as possible.

  • Fixed prices work for both of us; you know the cost upfront and I know how much I’m being paid. That is why, for projects like novels, the majority of my editorial services are costed per 1000 words to help you gauge your spending.

    Other items, such as copywriting for digital marketing materials, are costed per word, allowing the price to accurately reflect my input.

    All of my rates align with CIEP industry standards. All prices listed on this website are intended as guides and not reflective of every project.

  • For larger projects which require 50% of the cost upfront, I offer a seven-day period in which you can request a 75% refund for any monies transferred. Once seven days have passed, we are both committed to the project.

    Of course, if you decide to cancel the project after seven days, then the work will stop and you will not be charged anything more, but the initial charge won’t be refundable.

    If you have any worries or wish to change our agreement, the best thing to do is drop me an email and we’ll work out the best solution together.

  • You will be invoiced for any work undertaken.

    For first-time clients, and for projects which cost £500 or more, I require 50% of the fee in advance due to the time commitment I need to allocate for the job. This will consist of two separate invoices: one when I begin and one once I’m finished.

  • I will do everything I can to meet both your requirements and the standard of quality I set for myself. As is evident with the endorsements I’ve received, this normally works out pretty well.

    However, there may be a scenario in which you’re not happy with the work I’ve completed on your project. In this case, we will highlight the areas that are not satisfactory together, and I will make any necessary adjustments.

    This is free for editorial projects up to 10,000 words, after which my normal fees apply.

    For copywriting projects, I will allocate four-hours work for free to rectify any issues, after which my normal fees apply.
